COOCOOHANDLER is eager to share their ideas, energy, and experience in an educational or production setting, with classes or groups of any age or level of experience. The members of COOCOOHANDLER have a broad range of teaching experience in the disciplines of theatre, music, painting, sculpture, and art history. In December 1999, at the invitation of the East End Arts Council, COOCOOHANDLER held three days of music and theatre workshops in Riverhead, Long Island for a group of 25 children ranging in age from four to twelve years old. These workshops culminated in an original 45 minute full costume musical play that was performed before 300 people. Prior to this, COOCOOHANDLER was invited to conduct a series of workshops at Liberty High School in Manhattan, sponsored by the performance space The Kitchen.
